Maaaannnnn… I can’t believe it is that old! I’m trying to remember what cartoon it replaced in hometown newspaper when it first came out. It took me a few years to like it and I used to read it every day. It was always better to see a happy family manage a crisis than my own family.
I quit reading FBFW daily when I went off to boot camp. I never really got back in the habit of reading the newspaper daily as I always lived in larger cities after leaving home and the daily newsies are twice as big as the normal Sunday paper I read back home.
Here I go blogging again in someone’s comments. Anyway, I wonder if there are books like the FarSide and Peanuts that have all the strips in order. I’d love to go back and re-read what I missed in between then and now.
