So today.. I spent most of my afternoon.. doing laundry.. talking with Bev and Cher.. it was nice.. to just sit and chit chat with my girls.. haven’t really done that in ages.. a lot of it was chicken soup for the soul.. and a little bit of some hot cocoa for the heart… I had some of the best words ever spoken/typed to me today.. and I truely feel.. that it’s gonna help scoot me along with some self help stuff I would like to work on better for the new year…So thank you.. One couldn’t ask for a better friendship… I truely adore you for that.

Bev of course is working on her new layout.. once i finish my photo sorting.. I am going to round up some pictures and install MT.. WOOHOO! and then she can help me with my new layout*L* Cher’s gone and gotten herself a domain.. she’s thinking of new things to do on her site..I still need to sit down with myself and put some serious thought into the New Year’s Resolution dohickey…I have a few.. I don’t want to set myself up for TOO many failures*L* Most of what I am thinking.. is just a major TO DO list for things that need to be done around me.. like my layouts, my photography.. things like that.. but yes.. I shall get to those soon…I have a few days left.

So for like the first time in 6 years.. it looks like I won’t be taking my mom to her Stars on Ice show.. and while I’ve always complained about going.. I have always enjoyed it.. I like figure skating and with the more exhibit type skating, it’s even more fun to watch.. and now.. I feel bummed.. it’s always been my me and mom thing.. and my dad’s being an ass about it of course, saying he’ll sell the extra ticket if i can’t come or whatever.. or that she could go with a friend and all but driving there is an issue.. of course he won’t drive them.. I know the situation will change and something will be worked out.. I just really hate how he gets into these make you feel guilty about one thing because of another thing he wants you to feel guilty about.. my dad is the master of manipulation.. and I SHOULD be more immune to it, but I’m not.. and he should be more aware of how he does things and treats people with the guilt trips.. but the man is 58 years old.. I know he won’t be changing his tune any time soon…
