Dreaming.In.Reality

Today.. I spent a lot of time.. going to blogs off bevie’s site. With each of those sites, I’d pick one or two to go and visit. Those that I found really entertaining, I bookmarked.. and so soon, some of you shall see yourselves linked as a place to go. I’ve also decided today to do some snobjumping.. I’ve done this before.. but never actually wrote anything down.. so.. let me open my site here.. and click my BlogSnob link.

LeftOvers: My first jump landed me here.. I love her clean, but still vibrant layout..Margen’s link menu’s are cute as well.. I never understood those little smilie graphics.. where do you get those?*L* In reading through her blog, I remembered what it was like when I was 19.. It really wasn’t THAT long ago.. but it feels like centuries. Her entry about marriage, really caught my attention. I’m recently married.. almost 2 whopping months.. And I shared pretty much her same views.. I didn’t want to be a housewife, kids, while I think they are great.. are a mystery if they are under the age of 2.. I’m not sure I want one.. but the idea of having one with my husband, is very warming to me. I’m pretty much the housewife right now till immigration is done, and I don’t mind it much at all. Sure I get bored, but I do want to get out and work.. go back to school..have a meaningful job. But I am happy and content here..because nothing beats that soul enveloping hug, where for a second the world stops, and all that matters is just you and him(her). I’m definately adding this to my links list, because I’m want to see if they see each other next semester and speak, and if she gets her car..

infinitive: Continuing on in my jumping, I clicked the icon, and browsed another window while my new page loaded.. forgot it was there.. and then remembered, clicked and immediately fell in love with the graphic. It strongly reminds me of the photographs of Makiko Esumi by Tamotsu Fujii..So i start picking through this young gal’s to see what she has to offer, and WOW.. i’m having a trip down memory lane of when I was her age*L* creative, obsessive, wonderfully energetic and she swears like a sailor*L* Words of wisdom, ask for that kitten when they aren’t paying attention, slip it in with something else.. and wahlah.. you have a kitty*L* that’s how i got mine.. i waited until my dad(selfproclaimed cat hater) was on buisness, i got all the free kitten ads, found some that were still available,… waited till he called to ask how my day at school was blah blah blah.. and while i rattled onto him i asked him a few questions which by this time he was tuning me out a bit, i slipped in the can i get a cat? with the questions i knew he’s agree to without thinking.. he said yes, i was in the car and driving within 2 minutes of hanging up*L* Working that same technique on the husband.. no kitty so far.. but I will prevail*L* So within further reading, I see she was rather put out about some review site and her new domain layout(which i am looking at right now) I love the FF layouts her and her friends have done.. and i’m on cable:) all graphics loaded within 10 seconds.. I timed it.. i’ve bookmarked her..

idle musings:Nicely done SW:AToC layout:) Very nice.. I had to scroll through the weekly question series that are going around.. to find anything that she had written.. there wasn’t much there unfortunately.. other than a not such a spoiler of a Episode 2 review.. which I still have yet to see.. I have bookmarked her.. to peek in now and then to see what else is going on there…

flutterglubmeow: I really like how this gal has her site layed out.. very nice.. it’s “soft” but very clean, easy to navigate and easy on the eyes:) Clicking through now, reading some of her archives, and her reactions to her camping trip.. AH.. I envy her Girls’ Day Out and slumber party:) I haven’t had one of those in soooooooo long-sighs-

ok.. so after many clickings here.. there are just sometimes i cannot be mean.. but this one, I’m sorry.. i’m going to have to be..

Catharsis Vi: ok.. i have been doing this blog jumping ALL fucking day.. all day.. i’m tired.. i said i would do five.. god damn if the fifth wasn’t the bitch. So I finally get a site that works properly, didn’t attack me with pop ups,.. and while this site LOOKED promising.. I really loved the graphics.. They are an Amano fan.. kudos for that.. the problem is.. just surfing through their site.. nothing opens in a new window.. that pisses me off. My rule of thumb is.. you want to show people stuff.. BUT continue at YOUR site.. not someone elses..have it open a new window… if they click.. and go elsewhere.. they’re most likely NOT coming back to finish their visit at your house because your house isn’t there anymore.. even IF one has those new window boxes..most are not looking for that, they are going to take for granted that everything opens seperately.. I’m pretty sure most know what to do with the little X in the upper right corner. Secondly.. the text on this page..wtf is up with the shadow on the font? hi.. make things extremely hard to read. and i’m not terrible fond of the scrolling abilities.. i like having control over what i am scrolling.. i like my scrollbars easy to define.. Thirdly.. while I loved the graphics.. they took entirely way to long to load.. and I’m on cable.. I download mp3’s faster than this site loaded completely. I’m sorry.. but ugh..
